Christmastime...

"Christmastime...seeing it again through a child's eyes...."

"Candy canes, counting days, kids who still believe, falling snow, mistletoe, trimming the tree....colored strings of lights....popcorn chains, china plates, the smell of pumpkin pie, wrapping gifts, ornaments, stockings hung high, baking cookies and reading stories.... seeing it again through a child's eyes....it's the hope that one day the world will know peace.  It's the love that we feel helping others in need.  It's shepards who follow the star in the night.  All wrapped up in the gift of Christmastime....Holy Night, gift divine unto us...It's the sound of Heaven as angels sing, it's the grace that only the Savior could bring, it's wisemen who follow Him each day of their lives, all wrapped up in the gift of Christmastime.....It's love, and hope, it's joy, it's light, it's Christmastime. " (Hilary Weeks, Christmastime)

As the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the joyous holiday season has come and gone, I have stopped to reflect upon all that we have been given to us.  I have always loved Christmas and what it symbolizes.  The season felt like it took a long time to get here, but passed so quickly.  I love the memories, photos and laughter shared.

We went to Ritzville for Christmas Eve for a fabulous dinner and  present exchange. Thanks Dan and Cami for being the host and hostess with the most!  You guys rock.  We had a great time.  With kids from ages 16, 13, 7, 5, 4, 2 and 2 it was fun to watch them in all their excitement.  I turned the camera over to Eliza and so just as my title states.... here is Christmas through a child's eyes.  Enjoy!

Dancing by the light of the Christmas tree

May we remember the true meaning of Christmas time and keep His spirit alive all throughout the year.  Let's take time to see things through a child's eye and remember to be wise men-seeking Him always.

Until next time~adios, Julie
